Hello!, etc.

We passed 10,000 views! Thanks for coming to visit my page of scribbles. Here are some things:

This first one has a trouble maker, and he's got a mischievous look on his face. There's also a guy with a gun and a carrot... Kinda.

Then I have this monstrous beetle. I didn't use any of these items for reference, but I went back after and tried to figure out where my unconscious brain had stolen everything from. By the way, I read Battle Angel Alita: Last Order Volume 17 today and the ending was sweet. Caerula Sanguis comes back and is rad. 

Then a random image. I wanted to draw the lizard guy in the bottom left with his mouth open, but I chickened out.

When I was drawing that arm chainsaw guy I was like, "It's Armblessed from Battle Angel Alita!". But seriously, Armblessed has way more chainsaws in his body.

These are some random doodles, with what looks like a newd pikachu mutant.

This guy is speaking with a kindergartner's voice. I tried to write like a child.

BONUS: "It's my fingerless gloves"

Ah, Gong Fu. I had never seen it pronounced that way before. Then, maybe a month ago I read a book called The Gone-Away World and then I've seen it like that all over the place since then. I love martial arts. I did a lot of different sports as a kid (soccer, baseball, fencing, etc) but one I really wish I stuck with was karate. Come to think of it, I'm not sure why I stopped.

Anyway, I especially love fighting in comics. I love all the weird posing and insanity. Battle Angel Alita (GUNNM in Japan) is my favorite favorite favorite (Which I've mentioned here before, I think). I love all the ridiculous action (Alita's fight with Jashugan comes immediately to mind, but pretty much any fight scene is out of control) combined with sci-fi. It's a recipe for awesome. My favorite character is Caerula Sanguis. She's not even a thing until Last Order and focuses mostly on some sort of Chinese swordplay, but when she does Gong Fu she's the best, maybe better than Alita? I like to think so. 

So yeah. This picture. That pose is ridiculous and would probably get a 0/10 combat effectiveness, but sometimes it's not about practicality.

Her hair. Probably not possible.

As I was drawing this last one I realized that the beard had been lying dormant in my subconscious and manifested itself! It's clearly Zapan's face from Yukito Kishiro's Battle Angel Alita (Which, in my opinion, is the best fighting comic ever written. BETTER THAN DRAGONBALL!). So courtesy to Kishiro for the beard.

I had one more but apparently when I was closing Photoshop I forgot to save it. Whoops!
