Last year, the UVU Illustration Club brought pictures to a children's hospital in the year. We have an opportunity to do the same again this year. It's typically an Easter-themed Spring thing. I like to think I've learned something since then... I won't post a link to what I did last year but it's out there and not too hard to find. And I don't want you to look for it. Ha!
Here's a look at what I'm working on for the kids:
Then some stuff I was noodling on tonight:
That bottom right robot has potential. I might try to turn it into something I could enter into the student show. Maybe I'll do an environment or something and throw him in front of it? Maybe I could actually finish something? Nah, of course not.
You could draw one of my adorable holland lop bunnies, if you need extra inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of you as I was drawing this! Just put one in an envelope and mail it over! Hahaha!
DeleteI have a bunch of pictures on our Facebook page, you could steal one from there. Facebook.com/JollyHolidayHollands
ReplyDeleteI will! Thanks for the tip. Good reference is always nice.
DeleteOooooooh my gosh, I love! I had not idea you had it in you to illustrate something so precious!? Can you sketch me a little bunny or a duckling for Easter? I promise to frame it.
ReplyDeleteNO! I'm forbidden from doing anything cute unless it's for sick children. Cute is not appropriate for me!
DeleteUgh. Worst.
ReplyDeleteHey. If you don't like it, draw your own! Ahahaha!
DeleteAWWWWWW!!!!! WHAT A COOTIE BUNNY WUNNY!!!! I agree with Kaitlin. Will you draw us both cootie bunnies like the one above & put them in our Easter baskets? I am feeling a little...sniff sniff...cough...cough...sick? COOTIE PIE BUNNY!!!
