Gotta get back to work. I might keep working on this. The good folks over at polycount gave me some tips on ways to improve my art game. I just wanted to post and show what I had so far:
I feel like I lost some of the fun of the pose as I went, I'd like to get that back.
Anyway, have a nice weekend.
The level of finish looks great!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Thomas. And thanks for coming by me blog!
DeleteIs he the man in the moon? His face looks like it. I'm really proud of this one, Zag. The detailing looks so good! I love it when you spend hours upon hours on one project. Good chob!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I just don't even know! His face is pretty nasty. And I'm glad you like it! It doesn't quite feel "Right" or "Finished" to me yet, but I'm waiting on some feedback. We'll seeeeeee!!!
DeleteThis one seems alive. The face, torso and gun arm/hand have great detail. The left arm, less so. It needs to be smoother. Keep this one. I like it.
ReplyDeleteI think I've managed to please my mother with something I drew? Anyway, you're right. If you look there are far fewer hard/dark edges on the face, gun and arm/hand. The off hand is still really heavy and outlined. That will probably change if I keep working on this. Thanks for the feedback, you're right on here, ma.
