Thought I'd do some digital stuff in Photoshop today. Spent about 40 minutes and here we are. I'm frustrated and tired. I don't know how to think to do this properly.
All I can tell you, keep at it, it's just like drawing on paper, only...not the same. You just have to get used to using it. Are you using a pen tablet? If you are it can take a few days of use to get used to it. I've gotten all but completely used to it before, but now I've been out of practice and can't do as well anymore.
Yeah, it's a Wacom. The issue isn't a physical disconnect so much as it is a lack of understanding of how to paint. I think in lines and shapes and have never really had to deal with color and lighting. Painting is a whole different beastie from line work!
