SKETCHES FROM TODAY
I drew the next one yesterday, but I was too cranky to post it. Because my motorcycle wasn't going well, yeah?
I hid this down here. Did you see it!? This is my progress on the motorcycle for my first assignment. And it's not "Journey", it's "Voyage", apparently. I got a buncha help from Don today, and I think maybe I'm starting to get it? I think the trick is to work big to small and take forever on the biggest brush you can. It's all about taking tons of time on it. Just put some headphones in and don't focus on details, just work the big shapes for a while.

DeleteEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Zachercracker, this is SO exciting!! The shiny metal on the bike is particularly good! And is he wearing rouge or is he naturally rosy cheeked?
ReplyDeleteIt's just a placeholder skin tone to remind me to keep some in there so he doesn't look abnormal. It won't be as intense when I'm done!
