Five Hundred

Sheesh.

I like to think I've grown in 500 posts and almost 2 years?
I'll save all the reminiscing for the 2nd Annual post on the 28th of January. In the meantime, you can see the first here, in preparation for the next.
Thanks for all the love (and hate?) over the last 500 posts.
Gotta figure out some background/environment stuff now.

I worked on this from a few days back...

  2. Awesome! I love seeing your sketches when they're all colored up! The transformation is so exciting! And glowing eyes? What is this, Rats of NIMH? JK, I totally dig it. Nice work!

    1. Ha. He's like a demon or something! Or has magical powers! Or he's going to transform into a giant owl and threaten little ladies. And I'm glad you like it, hopefully there's more on the way!

    1. Thanks, Scotty. I need to go over and work that armor. I jumped online to get some reference about the time I was working on it so I could get values right, but the internet was down. I just kinda fudged it. Which I guess is what I always do, but this time I really tried to use reference! Ha. Maybe later.

    1. You copied it (select and push ctlr+c or right click and select "Copy") before you clicked "Publish," right? Always copy before you publish a post. Blogger insists that 95% of posts be sacrificed to the Google Gods. And thank you!

  5. I like it! It reminds me of that creature Mom and I saw when we were backpacking in the High Uintas a few years ago. We never did figure out what it was. Man? Beast?

    1. Did you survive your encounter? Did you get the creature's autograph? Did he teach you mystical techniques for immolating advancing armies with a wave of the hand? Did he let you swing his blade? I bet it was neither man nor beast, but Jackalope!
